Waypoint’s youth resource centers and overnight emergency shelter opened Oct. 31, 2022, taking a huge step in protecting NH’s most at-risk youth. The drop-in centers are located in Manchester and Rochester and are home to safe spaces that include laundry facilities, showers, a food pantry, clothing closet, and space for youth, ages 12–24 to get support and develop goals to change their course.
The overnight emergency shelter, located in Manchester, houses 14 beds, and provides young people, ages 18-24, low-barrier access to the overnight stays at the shelter, and all the services provided at the YRC during daytime hours.
These resources would not be possible without the work of NH providers, partners, advocates, law enforcement, school systems, and legislators, and the support of generous donors. We serve in gratitude to all.
