Family Resource Center – Concord

Waypoint Concord Family Resource Center (FRC) is part of our network of statewide Family Resource Centers to support individuals and families. Each regional FRC is a little different, but all help families and individuals overcome challenges and get what they need to succeed.

Waypoint Concord Family Resource Center (FRC), is conveniently located in downtown Concord. It is a gathering place where individuals and families can come for resources, services, support, supplies, connections, advocacy, professional staff, and opportunities. Services are always free, and all are welcome!

The Concord FRC offers a wide range of programs, including parenting classes, a virtual storytime for children, and a monthly Family Fun Night.

Home visiting (where we come to you)
Parent education groups and classes such as Positive Solutions for Families, PASTA (Parenting a Second Time Around), and Stress Less
Grandparent/Kinship Navigators
Social activities such as Storytime and Family Fun Night
Multicultural support with interpreters
Tools for parenting and information on early childhood development
Support for a healthy pregnancy.
Assistance with housing, healthcare, education (IEP’s and 504 plans), employment, utilities, transportation, childcare access
Help meeting basic needs (food, clothing, and other necessities)

PASTA (Parenting a Second Time Around) Group – Concord

Are you parenting a second time around? This free support group is a great chance to meet other grandparents and family caregivers who are in a similar situation, share ideas, find out about rights and resources, and get empowered and inspired.

Dates: Mondays, September 23 – November 18

Enjoy relaxed time with your family! Bring the whole family for pizza, snacks, crafts, games, and lots of fun!
