Healthy Families America is a nationally recognized, voluntary home visiting program to help families at risk for adverse childhood experiences, including child maltreatment. Family Support Specialists provide individualized assistance to families beginning from before a child is born and continuing for up to three years after birth.

HFA helps pregnant and newly parenting families who need a little extra help and support. Trained Family Support Specialists visit families one-on-one to offer health education, parenting support, developmental screening, and connections to community resources.
Visits are voluntary and can take place in the family home or other locations that the family selects.
