Healthy Families America with Waypoint is a voluntary program that provides free parenting support in New Hampshire to pregnant and newly parenting families. This nationally recognized program supports you as a parent during pregnancy and through your child’s first three years.

Through Healthy Families America, you’ll be matched with a Family Support Specialist who can visit you at home or meet you wherever feels comfortable. Together, you’ll talk through your questions, connect to resources, and build confidence in your parenting journey.

Services

We’re here for the big and small moments of parenting—whether you’re getting ready for your baby’s arrival, wondering how to get your toddler to sleep, or looking for local playgroups. 

During pregnancy, we can help with: 

  • Prenatal health and nutrition 
  • Preparing for your baby’s arrival 
  • Quitting smoking and making healthy choices 
  • Family planning and safe pregnancy resources 
  • Connections to local programs and supports 

With your baby or toddler, we can help with: 

  • Postpartum care and recovery 
  • Breastfeeding or bottle-feeding guidance 
  • Baby sleep and toddler potty training tips 
  • Infant and toddler health and development 
  • Support with postpartum depression and maternal mental health 
  • Building strong parent–child bonds 
  • Finding playgroups, housing help, food support, and more
