Individualized Service Options (aka ISO) is a high intensity, multi-faceted program designed to serve families. The program tailors a variety of therapeutic, social and community-based services to the specific needs of a child and family, and strives to create a safe, stable, positive home environment for each child.

GOALS:

  • Ensure the safety of children
  • Achieve permanence within birth, adoptive, kinship, or foster families
  • Keep children connected to their families, communities, schools, and social networks

The program can:

  • Support families in their own homes
  • Reunify a child with his or her family
  • Place the child in a caring foster home
  • Provide older youth with the support, education, and skills they’ll need
    to transition to independence

ISO will collaborate with family and referral source to develop a treatment plan that may include:

  • Individual/family counseling
  • Trauma-focused community based therapy/child-parent psychotherapy
  • Respite care
  • Crisis intervention/stabilization
  • Substance abuse assessments & treatment
  • Parenting education and in-home support
  • Foster home support
  • Short-term placement
  • Transitional (independent living) services for older adolescents
  • Job readiness assistance for parents and older adolescents
  • Monitoring (ensures that a child adheres to court orders re: curfew, school attendance, counseling sessions, etc.)
  • Community network
