Family Resource Center – Stratham

Waypoint’s Stratham Family Resource Center (FRC) at the Richie McFarland Center is part of our network of resource centers across the state. Each of Waypoint’s regional Family Resource Centers offer something a little different, but they all help to strengthen families and promote positive outcomes for children.

Waypoint’s Stratham FRC offers several home visiting programs, resources, support, community connections, and activities for families, all led by professional staff. Services are always free and all are welcome!

Our FRC includes Home Visiting Programs (where we come to you): Birth to Three Early Supports and Services, Healthy Families America, and Health Care Coordination; parent education, playgroups, access to services and a nature-based, outdoor classroom. Our FRC is located in Stratham, across from Stratham Hill Park.

Services

A welcome space for gathering, including Peggy’s Playgarden, a unique nature-based outdoor experience
Parent education classes such as Positive Solutions for Families
Support groups, play groups and opportunities for social connections
Help during pregnancy, and with parenting and early childhood development
Assistance locating and accessing community and state resources
Basic needs relief (diapers, formula, and other needs, as available)
Health Care Coordination – community-based care coordinators assist families in accessing needed healthcare and related services for children with chronic illness or disability
NH Birth to Three: Family Centered Early Supports and Services – for families with children birth to 3 who have, or are at risk for, developmental delays, or who have an established condition
Healthy Families America – a family support and strengthening program for pregnant and newly parenting families with children up to age 5
