WZID Christmas is For Kids Radiothon
To help meet the wishes of over 1,500 children in need each holiday season and beyond, Waypoint and WZID/95.7 FM partner together annually for the Christmas is for Kids Radiothon. The 11-hour event supports local children in need by raising funds to provide critical services to their families.
About the Radiothon
The annual WZID/95.7 FM Christmas is for Kids Radiothon provides gifts under the tree for children in need and provides essential funding for Waypoint's services.
Money raised through the Radiothon supports in-home visits for families under stress, positive recreational experiences for at-risk youth, parent education, and support groups. It also subsidizes equipment and transportation for children with developmental or chronic health concerns, care packs for children transitioning through foster care, and two weeks of summer camp for children from low-income families, including children of incarcerated parents.
Over the past 25 years, Waypoint has raised over $3.25 million, directly touching the lives of nearly 60,000 children in the Granite State.
