Waypoint is pleased to announce that Erin George-Kelly has been named Chief Operating Officer (COO). A dedicated leader with more than 20 years of experience serving children, youth, and families, Erin brings deep organizational knowledge, a strong commitment to Waypoint’s mission, and a proven ability to advance innovative, community-centered solutions.
Erin has been with Waypoint for more than 20 years, most recently serving as Director of Innovation and Strategic Initiatives. In that role, she helped guide organizational strategy, uplift Waypoint’s vision and values, and keep the organization at the cutting edge of social services while responding to evolving community needs.
Prior to that, Erin led Waypoint’s Homeless Youth and Young Adult Department, where her leadership expanded services for young people across New Hampshire and helped establish the state’s first emergency shelter for youth and young adults.
Erin has also served the Manchester community as an Alderman and as a member of the city’s Planning Board, bringing a broad perspective on community needs, civic engagement, and systems-level change.
As a leader, Erin is known for her collaborative, transparent, and mission-driven approach. She values diverse perspectives, and is committed to fostering environments where staff, partners, and communities can thrive.
In her new role as COO, Erin will help lead Waypoint into its next chapter with purpose, integrity, and a continued focus on creating communities where all people have the opportunity to thrive.
