Housing Programs
From overnight emergency shelter to longer-term transitional housing, Waypoint is here to provide shelter for youth experiencing or at risk of experiencing homelessness. Our housing programs connect youth to support and resources to chart a path to a more secure future.
Rapid Rehousing
Rapid Rehousing moves young adults, ages 18-24, from homelessness to housing. Coordinators work with local landlords to supply rental housing to eligible young adults who participate in supportive counseling and skills development to become self-sufficient tenants.
Transitional Living Program
The Transitional Living Program helps youth between the ages of 18 and 21 bridge the gap between homelessness and self-sufficient living. Youth experiencing homelessness or at risk are provided housing and support to attain education and employment goals and develop life skills.
Host Home Program
Waypoint’s Host Home Program (HHP) matches qualified youth aged 18 to 24 who are at risk of experiencing homelessness with carefully screened volunteer hosts willing to provide safe housing.
Pregnant/Parenting Transitional Living Program
The Transitional Living Parenting Program provides short-term housing and intensive support to pregnant or parenting young people, 18-21, who are homeless or at risk of experiencing homelessness.
