Pregnant/Parenting Transitional Living Program

Pregnant/Parenting Transitional Living Program

The Transitional Living Parenting Program provides short-term housing and intensive support to pregnant or parenting young people, 18-21, who are homeless or at risk of experiencing homelessness.

If you are 18-21 years old, pregnant or parenting, and are homeless or at risk of being homeless, the Transitional Living Parenting Program (TLPP) can help.

TLPP is a safe, time-limited housing program, that provides support so young parents can improve their lives while raising a family. Through TLPP, you are provided an apartment; access to educational, vocational, and community resources; and will learn parenting and independent living skills, such as household management, while you move toward independence.

Your TLPP care coordinator will meet weekly with you to help you reach your goals. A focus is placed on positive parenting, education, connection to sustainable housing, and employment. You and your child(ren) may remain in TLPP for 12-18 months.
