The Manchester Drop-in Center is a safe and non-judgmental space for young people who have left home, feel unsafe at home, are coach surfing, or are experiencing literal homelessness. Dedicated and caring staff understand the issues that young people may be facing and are experienced at providing connections to resources and support – whether the young person just wants a safe place to go for a few hours or help overcoming challenges and rebuilding a life.
The Drop-in Center also serves as a designated Regional Access Point (RAP). RAPs provide a single point of entry to vital systems and supportive services for young adults experiencing homelessness, without duplicating efforts from other organizations and programs. Designated, trained staff members conduct assessments and connect youth to the larger homeless service system.
