The 20TH Anniversary of the WZID Christmas is for Kids Radiothon presented by Consolidated Communications in partnership with the Bednarowski Charitable Foundation

Tune into 95.7 WZID December 6 and 7 for a marathon live broadcast to help local kids!

In true spirit of the season, this magical event involves the entire community in a conspiracy Christmas spirit! For two days, the air-waves of 95.7 WZID will be filled with great music and local guests, and you can call in or go online to donate the amount of your choosing. And there are all kinds of incentives for what you give! You may also enter the raffle to win $5000, and get some great deals on Half-Off New Hampshire. Proceeds go directly into fulfilling wishes of local kids in need, and will support critical services throughout the year.

  • Launch a Facebook fundraiser or start a GoFundMe page for Christmas is for Kids.
  • Get an employee pool going, and if your team raises over $500, we’ll mention you on air!
  • Issue a corporate challenge…matching others’ donations up to a certain amount

Here are some ideas of what local businesses and organizations have done:

  • A local hair salon donated $5.00 off each haircut on the days of our event
  • A restaurant designated 50% of its dessert sales during days of event
  • A school collected money during its basketball games
  • A large corporation had “jeans” Fridays, where employees donated $5 to the cause to wear jeans to work.
  • Kids launched Facebook campaigns for their birthdays, where friends could donate to this event as their birthday gift! FB makes is super easy to do!!
